Franziska Hölscher
Violinist Franziska Hölscher has made a name for herself on the international music scene thanks to her versatility and passion, whether she is performing as a soloist, alongside renowned musicians, or as a festival director. She has performed at prestigious venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, Vienna Konzerthaus and Rudolfinum in Prague, and has appeared at festivals including the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg, Bregenz Festival, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Schwetzingen SWR Festival, Rheingau Music Festival and Heidelberger Frühling.
Following her debut with Martha Argerich, she has performed alongside Kit Armstrong, Martin Helmchen, Maximilian Hornung, Daniel Müller-Schott and Benjamin Appl. Together with Roger Willemsen, Franziska Hölscher developed the stage production »Landschaften«, which she recorded with Maria Schrader and Marianna Shirinyan.
Franziska Hölscher is the Artistic Director of the chamber music series »Klangbrücken« at the Konzerthaus Berlin, which she founded in 2014 with Severin von Eckardstein. In 2021, she and Kit Armstrong took over the artistic direction of the Musiktage Feldafing, and since 2022 she has been the Artistic Director of the Fränkischer Sommer music festival.
