At just 20 years of age, Vsevolod Zavidov, winner of the 2025 Prix UBS Jeunes Solistes, is one of the most exciting emerging talents in the tradition of the Russian piano school. Currently residing in Geneva, the pianist impresses with an artistic maturity and verve that far exceed his years. This is evident in his performances of Rachmaninoff’s arrangement of a Bach partita and two of Schubert’s beloved impromptus. Add to that Stravinsky’s piano version of his ballet Pétrouchka, widely regarded as one of the most virtuosic piano compositions of the 20th century!

Around the market square, nine venues will each host two 45-minute concerts in three time slots. All venues have two shared intervals for spontaneous encounters and stimulating exchanges. Individual tickets can be booked for each event at a standard price of 33 euros, so you can choose for yourself whether you would like to attend one, two or three concerts to start off the festival!
