Open-air event moved from the market square to the Domshof

In view of the expected audience turnout, the open-air finale with the techno marching band MEUTE on Saturday, September 6, at 8 pm will be moved from the market square to the Domshof. The large round stage that was also used in previous years, will now be set up in front of the ALEX restaurant on the north side of the Domshof, providing the audience with a significantly larger area than on the market square, extending all the way to the Neptune Fountain. »This measure will ensure better visitor flow due to the larger space available, while still complying with the safety requirements for an event of this size,« artistic director Prof. Thomas Albert said about the decision. For wheelchair users (severe disability pass with the mark »B«) and their companions, as well as people with walking disabilities (severe disability pass with the marks »G« and »aG«), a specially marked area will be set up on the Domshof, which can be reached via a designated corridor on the west side at the level of ALEX. As space is limited, eligible persons who wish to take advantage of this offer are requested to arrive in good time before the concert. For those arriving by public transport, we recommend using the »Schüsselkorb« stop.
