Born in 1994, the conductor impressed the Deutschlandfunk music editors and the organizers of the Musikfest Bremen with her insightful interpretations, nuanced approach, and natural charisma.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u00bbWith her conducting, Katharina Morin creates a space for the musicians to express themselves freely and interact mindfully. She manages, seemingly effortlessly, to blend the orchestra, choir and vocal soloists into a cohesive ensemble. Calm yet highly focused, composed yet invigorating, she guides the musicians through the works. She has a gift for swiftly and precisely fine-tuning the sound and composition with apparent ease. She is equally at home with choral works, symphonic music and, increasingly, opera,\u00ab the jury explained its decision.<\/p>\r\n<p>The award ceremony for Katharina Morin will take place on 23. August 2026 at Bremen&#8217;s concert hall \u00bbDie Glocke\u00ab.<\/p>\r\n<p>With the Deutschlandfunk award, Deutschlandfunk and the Musikfest have been supporting talented young artists since 1998.
