The Flemish baroque orchestra B‘Rock was founded in 2005 by harpsichordist, composer and conductor Frank Agsteribbe and double bassist Tom Devaere. The international orchestra plays without a permanent conductor or artistic director and explores five centuries of music in opera, oratorio and instrumental music on period instruments. The musicians attach equal importance to outstanding performances of baroque masterpieces and to premieres of contemporary music in surprising contexts. The recently founded B'Rock Vocal Consort gives the ensemble the freedom to expand its extensive repertoire with like-minded singers.

B’Rock regularly collaborates with leading soloists and guest conductors such as René Jacobs, Jérémie Rhorer, Leonardo García Alarcón, Peter Dijkstra, Bejun Mehta, Alexander Melnikov, Kristian Bezuidenhout, Philippe Jaroussky, Dmitry Sinkovsky, Christian Poltéra, Sophie Karthäuser and others.

With strong Flemish roots and Ghent as its home base, the B'Rock Orchestra has a global presence. It enjoys a creative partnership with deSingel in Antwerp and maintains long-term collaborations with OperaBallet Vlaanderen, KASK Conservatorium Gent, Muziektheater Transparant and Opéra de Rouen. B'Rock receives invitations from renowned venues and festivals such as the Concertgebouw Bruges, Muziekcentrum De Bijloke Gent, De Munt/La Monnaie, Concertgebouw and Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, Kölner Philharmonie, Amare Den Haag, Le Volcan in Le Havre, Musikfestspiele Potsdam and Musik+ in Innsbruck.
