Lila Hajosi
Lila Hajosi started her training at the Conservatoire of Aix-en-Provence in 2012, studying vocals, theatre and early music, before continuing her education at the Conservatoire of Marseille and the Chapelle Royale Reine Elisabeth in Belgium. Her extensive education was rounded off with private lessons and masterclasses in amongst others conducting with Sergio Monterisi, Sara Mingardo, Teodor Currentzis, Jordi Savall und Stéphanie d'Oustrac, which opened up even more opportunities. She directs the Irini Ensemble, which she founded in 2014, as well as working with other ensembles such as La Capella Reial de Catalunya, Ricercare Antico, L'Arpeggiata and L'Achéron.
Lila Hajosi has already appeared at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the Aix-en-Provence Opera, the Philharmonie de Paris and the Teatro Ristori in Verona, and has been invited to perform at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, the Linz Opera, the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, the Berlin Philharmonie and the Musikverein Graz.
Lila Hajosi's recording »Maria Nostra« with her Irini Ensemble was awarded the Choc de Classica in 2019. Her first opus as a conductor, »O Sidera«, was released in 2021. In 2024, she collaborated with the percussionist and conductor Tom de Cock on an augmented version of »O Sidera« mixed with works by Xenakis and a four-hand creation based on the Delphic Hymn to Apollo. A joint project with the Belgian Ictus Ensemble and Riccardo Nova is planned for 2025.
