Anna Besson, Louis Creac'h, Robin Pharo and Jean Rondeau founded the quartet Nevermind in 2013 out of their love and passion for music, in particular the quartet repertoire (flute, violin, viola da gamba and harpsichord) of the 17th and 18th centuries. They have proven their virtuosity and infectious enthusiasm in leading concert halls across Europe, including the Auditorium du Louvre, Vienna Konzerthaus, London Barbican, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, BOZAR in Brussels, Konzerthaus Dortmund, Concertgebouw Brugge, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Staatsoper Berlin, Alte Oper Frankfurt and Wigmore Hall. Their international tours have also taken them to the USA, Canada and Australia. Festivals such as the Rheingau Music Festival, Utrecht Early Music Festival, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Prague Spring, Festival Ravel, Festival de Saintes, Bel-Air Claviers Festival and Gstaad Menuhin Festival have extended invitations to the quartet and this year will be their debut at the Musikfest Bremen.
Nevermind's first album, »Conversations«, was released by Alpha in 2016, followed by »Quatuors Parisiens« in 2017, featuring works by Georg-Philipp Telemann, and in 2021 they turned their attention to »Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach«. In 2019, the quartet delved into the world of contemporary music for the first time, premièring works for violin, flute, viola da gamba and harpsichord entitled »La Harpe de David«, composed for Nevermind by Philippe Hersant.
