She gained worldwide recognition for her exceptional skills when she won the prestigious Chopin Competition in 2010, which paved the way to an international career as a sought-after concert pianist: Yulianna Avdeeva’s outstanding performances and masterful interpretations always ensure an enthusiastic and focused audience in every venue. Her engagements have taken the Moscow-born, Munich-based artist throughout Europe, to the USA, Japan and Australia. A tour of Japan was also on her agenda again in March 2024, including with the Orchestra of the 18th Century. In addition to her regular appearances at the Chopin Festival in Warsaw and the Festival International de Piano La Roque d'Anthéron, Yulianna Avdeeva has also performed at the Salzburg Festival, the Rheingau Music Festival, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Boulez Saal, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Jerusalem Chamber Music Festival and the International Shostakovich Days in Gohrisch in recent seasons. She is regularly invited by world-renowned orchestras and has performed with the Konzerthaus Orchester Berlin, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, WDR Symphonieorchester Köln, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. After three highly acclaimed appearances at the festival in previous years, she will now perform at the opening night of the Musikfest Bremen for the first time.
