In her homage to Aretha Franklin, the charismatic artist brought the Queen of Soul’s songs back to life with her big multi-octave voice. The programme combines standards from the Great American Songbook by Cole Porter, George Gershwin, and Rodgers and Hart with hits by Burt Bacharach, Michel Legrand and Sérgio Mendes. All songs that became legendary through interpretations by great singers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Peggy Lee, Natalie Cole and Barbra Streisand.
