Hello, here comes a new high-flying pianist! Born in Vienna in 2001, Lukas Sternath is currently studying with Igor Levit in Hanover. Having already won piano competitions in Bolzano, Dortmund and Bremen, he took first prize and seven special prizes at the ARD Music Competition in Munich in 2022. For his Musikfest debut, he will show why he is one of the most exciting young pianists around, with works such as Beethoven's valorous »Eroica Variations«.

HOW IT WORKS
Around the market square, nine venues will each host two 45-minute concerts in three time slots. All venues will have two shared intervals for spontaneous encounters and stimulating exchanges. Individual tickets can be booked for all events at a standard price of 30 euros, so you can choose for yourself whether you would like to attend one, two or three concerts to start off the festival!
