Important traffic and parking information for the Musikfest concert in Verden Cathedral

On Friday, 29 August, two long-standing events will take place in the centre of Verden. In addition to our Musikfest concert »Mozart‘s Requiem« at 7:30 pm in the cathedral, the 25th Verden City Run will get numerous athletes moving from late afternoon onwards. The fact that the events are at the same time this year poses organisational challenges. In consultation with the city of Verden and the city run's organising committee, we have found solutions to ensure the best possible conditions for all visitors. Because of the City Run’s route, there will be temporary road closures in the city centre on the day of the event. We ask visitors to plan their journey carefully. Those travelling to the Musikfest concert from the south and west should use the access road via the Südbrücke bridge and follow the signs to the nearest parking facilities.
