Founded in 2020, Verità Baroque is an outstanding young ensemble that reimagines Baroque music on period instruments for contemporary audiences. Made up of international soloists, the ensemble has already performed in venues such as the Institut de France in Paris, in Schloss Ettlingen as part of the SWR’s concert series and could be heard on the radio, including on WDR3.

Of particular interest is the »Immersive Project«, a unique format with which Verità Baroque has garnered great acclaim in the international press and redefined the presentation of early music: with the aid of 360° audio and video technology, the music can not just be heard, but becomes tangible – the audience is, as it were, immersed in the musical action. The result is an intense, sensory listening experience that bridges the gap between stage and audience and allows the sounds of the Baroque to be experienced anew in a surprisingly modern way.

The ensemble’s projects also include programmes that combine Baroque works with specially commissioned compositions. In concert series and at festivals – such as the FEL!X Festival in Cologne, the Tage Alter Musik or the European American Musical Alliance in Paris – the musicians present works by Vivaldi, Telemann and Rameau in dialogue with contemporary compositions by Marc Migó, Nicola Canzano and Alessio Barcellini.
