The world-renowned period instrument ensemble Il Pomi d’Oro and ist musical director Maxim Emelyanychev play with a thrilling enthusiasm and passion! The concerto grosso, in which several concertante instruments compete with the orchestra, uniquely captures the dynamic drive and refined elegance of the Baroque. Il Pomo d’Oro presents a varied selection of famous concerti grossi by Handel, Scarlatti & co with technical brilliance, sparkling wit and passionate verve.

Around the market square, nine venues each host two 45-minute concerts in three time slots. All venues have two shared intervals for spontaneous encounters and stimulating exchanges. Individual tickets can be booked for each event at a standard price of 33 euros, so you can choose for yourself whether you would like to attend one, two or three concerts to start off the festival!
